How tall does a pool fence have to be in Georgia?
At least 48 inches, measured from the ground on the outside of the barrier, with no opening that passes a 4-inch sphere.
Can I use my existing privacy fence as the pool barrier?
Sometimes. It has to meet the height and opening limits, sit within the ground-clearance allowance, and the gates have to self-close and self-latch. Frequently the fence passes and the gate doesn't.
Aluminum, steel, or chain link?
Aluminum for almost everyone — it never rusts and needs no maintenance, and it has the aesthetic appeal of classic wrought iron fence. Steel is also aesthetic, but more durable, and is the better choice if you need the fence installed in/on a concrete deck. Chain link is more economical but still a safe choice.
Will a fence post crack my pool deck?
Not if it's set correctly. We core-drill and set posts in concrete, or mount to the deck with base plates where a footing won't allow a dig.
How long does installation take?
Most residential pool fences go in within one to three days once materials arrive.

Yes. Most of our pool fence work is on pools that are already in the ground.
